Fiery ‘They Couldn’t Pick a Worse Messenger’: Tomi Lahren on Hillary’s Trump-Bashing Return

Fox Nation host Tomi Lahren slammed Hillary Clinton’s latest salvos against President Donald Trump, including a prediction that the president will carry out “wholesale firings” of administration officials after the midterm elections.

Speaking to Rachel Maddow on Tuesday, Clinton urged Americans to “check and reject” Trump’s “authoritarian tendencies” at the ballot box.

She warned that if the Trump administration is “left unchecked,” it could have dire consequences for the country.

“If we ignore the importance of this midterm election … I think you will see even more of the dismantling of our institutions with very dire effects,” Clinton said.

On “Fox & Friends” Wednesday, Lahren said every time Clinton speaks publicly, it just helps Republicans’ chances in the midterms.

“They couldn’t pick a worse messenger than Hillary Clinton. I don’t know why the Democrats can’t understand that,” Lahren said.

She added that’s what’s truly infuriating about Clinton’s remarks is the former Democratic presidential nominee’s claim that Trump is “dismantling our institutions.”

“This coming from a woman and a party that routinely talk about abolishing ICE, that [have] no respect for law enforcement, border enforcement, national security? And she has the audacity to say President Trump is dismantling our institutions and traditions?” Lahren said.

“Excuse me, Hillary? What are you watching?”

Days earlier, Clinton warned that American democracy is in crisis under Trump.
