Ivanka Trump wears a faux Italian Kimono to her dinner with Japanese Prime Minister Abe Shinzo.
Ivanka Trump paid homage to the Japanese culture for a dinner with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
The first daughter wore a custom-made $1,995 dress created by Italian designer Johanna Ortiz that featured pink accents, a floral pattern and black bow belt that tied around her waist. Ivanka ditched her usual slick-straight blonde tresses for a wavy style, perhaps due to the humid weather in Japan.
The mother of three polished off her below-the-knee number that resembled a kimono with a pair of black stilettos and minimal jewelry.
Ivanka posted a bunch of photos from the dinner, revealing on her Instagram account that the prime minister actually surprised her with a floral bouquet for her birthday on October 30.
“An unforgettable last night in Tokyo!” she captioned the post. “Thank you Prime Minister Abe for the warm hospitality and the belated birthday wishes.”
