Melania Trump’s gardening outfit cost almost HALF the average Brit’s monthly wages

MELANIA TRUMP is the First Lady of the United States of America and is married to property mogul and billionaire Donald Trump, 71. She is known for her expensive wardrobe, and even her gardening clothes cost thousands.

The First Lady usually wears designer dresses and high heels for her public appearances, but getting hands-on in the dirt called for a low key look for Melania.

However, while Melania dressed down for the occasions, her outfit still came with a hefty price tag.

The First Lady’s shirt cost $1,380 and was from high-end label loved by the Kardashian’s, Balmain.

She added to the look a pair of designer sunglasses, dark jeans and canvas lace-up sneakers.

The tartan shirt, perhaps a nod to her husband Donald Trump’s Scottish heritage, had gold buttons.

Melania also wore red gloves to protect her hands while she pottered about in the vegetable patch.

The red shirt from the designer brand costs £1048.80 in the UK.

This not far off half the monthly salary of the average Brit, which is £2300.

However, Mrs Trump thought nothing of wearing the expensive items to pick veg such as peppers in the White House garden.

Melania Trump often wears very expensive items of clothing, whether in the garden or at lavish events.

She was criticised when she wore a pair of Manolo Blahnik snakeskin heels to travel to Texas and see the damage caused by Hurricane Harvey.

Manolo Blahnik black patent heels currently sell for about £490.

She also owns a host of expensive handbags, and between the months of June and September, this year was seen wearing £95,642.87 worth of handbags.

She is also a fan of snakeskin shoes, which cost thousands of pounds.

She wears the sky-high pumps by shoe designers Christian Louboutin and Manolo Blahnik.
